A few things to know when using our questions, discussions and resources.

01About BeyondClass
BeyondClass is an independent study community for NSW HSC students. It provides practice questions, multiple-choice practice tests, Live Quiz, discussions and links to resources for general educational use. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NESA, UAC, a school, university or examination authority unless expressly stated.
02Where the content comes from
Content may include student contributions, editorial practice questions, AI-assisted material, and information drawn from or linked to publicly available internet sources. Sources and AI assistance are identified where stated on a question. A source link is a reference, not an endorsement or a claim that we own the source material.
03Check important information
Content can contain mistakes, incomplete explanations or information that has become out of date. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, reliability or suitability for your course. Check answers against your class materials and current official syllabus and marking guidelines. Confirm subject, ATAR and university admissions information with NESA, UAC and the relevant institution before making decisions.
04What approval means
An admin or moderator reviews contributions before publication. Approval is permission to publish on BeyondClass; it is not teacher verification, an official marking judgement or a guarantee that every answer is correct. An accepted community explanation reflects the judgement of the discussion author or reviewer, not an examination authority.
05Automatic checks, tests and quizzes
Automatic checks compare an entered final answer or selected option with the stored answer and checking rules. They can contain errors. Final-answer checks on library questions do not assess your working or award full method marks. Practice-test and Live Quiz scores reflect the questions attempted and their configured answer keys; they are not official HSC marks, bands, ATAR estimates or teacher assessments. Use worked explanations and class materials to review mistakes, and report a result that looks incorrect. Timed practice can be paused or repeated and is not a supervised examination.
06No guarantee of results
BeyondClass supports revision but does not promise a particular mark, band, ATAR, ranking, admission outcome or improvement. Questions are for practice, not a substitute for teaching or advice tailored to your circumstances. You are responsible for how you use the information and for following your school’s assessment and academic integrity rules.
07User contributions and copyright
Contributors are responsible for what they submit and for having permission to share it. User opinions are their own and do not necessarily represent BeyondClass. Material being available online does not mean it is free to reproduce. Rights in third-party material remain with its owners; a citation does not replace permission. Do not upload private information, unreleased exam material or work you are not entitled to share.
08External websites
Links may take you to services operated by others. We do not control their content, availability, security or privacy practices and do not guarantee the information they provide. Check the destination’s terms and privacy information before using it or providing personal details.
09Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeyondClass and its operators exclude liability for loss, damage, cost or expense arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to access this website, its content, user contributions or linked resources. This includes, where the law permits, direct, indirect and consequential loss, loss of data and loss connected with educational or admissions decisions. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right, consumer guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law does not allow an exclusion, the applicable legal rights and obligations continue to apply.
